Welcome to 21st Century Science…Fiction?

Welcome to the world of near fiction or perhaps it is near science.  The best stories have always been those that are true but maybe not totally true - We readily accept this idea in writings like historical novels and movies like docu-dramas.  So why not in science?   The following stories are true or not - only you can decide but don’t be too quick to judge until you check it out.  By that, I mean, use the web to see if you can find “anything” in these stories that is not based on real or possible science.  You might be surprised.
